Dan and Jan Mannion have been lifelong horse people...
They started showing horses as kids in Southern California and horses have continued to play a vital role in their lives today.

Together since 1988, they moved to Northern California and established the ranch in 1992 in Wilton, California, just south of Sacramento. Dan and Jan have been active members of Sierra Paint Horse Club for over 10 years and during that period Dan served as president for 2 years. They continue to help out the club when they can, but their focus is on their clients and their horses. Today Dan holds judging cards for NSBA and APHA. Jan is serving her second term as a National Director on the Amateur Committee for APHA.

Mannion Ranch specializes in the training and fitting of Paint and Quarter Horses for halter, with a large emphasis on their Youth and Amateur programs. In addition, Jan is known for her outstanding work in training her riders which include "Miss Shadow Page" who earned her APHA World Championship in Hunter Under Saddle.
